Photos from Landmines & Jeff Rowe in Birmingham

September 29, 2010

On Sunday the lovely Landmines and Jeff Rowe played this show at our local, the Adam & Eve in Digbeth, with support from Birmingham’s Pick Your Weapon. For us, it was a last minute booking (we got asked the Wednesday before), and we couldn’t have done it without the help of All In Vinyl bringing along food and making sure the bands were well watered.

Photographer Matt Higgs turned up with his camera and took some great photos of the night- check out his blog post and photoset from it all.

Photos from Above Them and The Magnificent show

September 28, 2010

Two weeks ago we put on this show at Scruffy Murphys in Birmingham which Above Them, The Magnificent, The Killerest Expression and The Fall, The Rise played. We had a great night and our friend Damion who helped us book the show bought along his beast of a Polaroid camera and took some snaps- you can see the rest of the photos he took HERE.

our next show is this Sunday!

September 22, 2010

Following the success of last Sunday’s show at Scruff Murphys, we’ve now booked Landmines and Jeff Rowe from the US with local support Pick Your Weapon to play at our local, The Adam & Eve in Digbeth. The show is free entry, and there will be a donations pot where all proceeds go towards the bands petrol money. We’re putting this show on with All In Vinyl, who will have their distro with them full of great records to buy. See you Sunday!

We’ve been printing a bunch of shirts for all sorts of people over the last few weeks… here’s a taster

Some nice baseball shirts for Caves.

I can’t remember what these were for, but I like the design.

Birmingham-based clothing label, Villain.

And finally, this T-shirt for Bogus Clothing, which Sam is still in the middle of printing as I post.

Screen Printing Workshop

September 13, 2010

One Saturday 11th September we had a go at holding our first screen printing workshop as part of Birmingham Zine Festival. Illustrator, and the festival’s posterboy James Nash kindly did some drawings for us, which we exposed onto 6 screens, and each workshop participant got given a white EarthPositive T-shirt to print however they wanted.

The positives we made the screens from.
