September 16, 2010

We’ve been printing a bunch of shirts for all sorts of people over the last few weeks… here’s a taster

For our pal Neil at Mouldy Loaf, we used to share a shop and he always gets the BEST illustrators doodling for him

Screen Printing Workshop

September 13, 2010

One Saturday 11th September we had a go at holding our first screen printing workshop as part of Birmingham Zine Festival. Illustrator, and the festival’s posterboy James Nash kindly did some drawings for us, which we exposed onto 6 screens, and each workshop participant got given a white EarthPositive T-shirt to print however they wanted.

The positives we made the screens from.

Printing!

In and out of ‘Bertha’ the tunnel dryer

The finished T-shirts!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and printed, we had such a great time.

Ervin’s website

August 23, 2010

At the time of posting this, Ervin Esen’s website is down, which is frustrating as I just know it’s going to be full of awesome things to look at. We printed these three colour prints for personal promotion, and we were made all to aware of how important getting the colours and print right was to Ervin. We did our very best, as we do with all our printing, and were delighted to receive an email a few days later saying

“They are exactly how I wanted them to be. Thank you for sharing my enthusiasm for this project. Throughout the whole process you were very very helpful and professional”

I don’t usually post testimonials for our work, I usually think people can make their own mind up as we try and deliver a one-to-one service with everyone we print for, but these kind words were just too nice to sit in our inbox.

The patient Austrian

August 23, 2010

Poor Andy Lohner had to wait what seemed like months for EarthPositive to sort shit out and get some T-shirts in stock. It sure was worth the wait though, and we even get a little mention on the label! You can buy one of the limited edition T-shirts here while stocks last!

Mister Millerchip prints

August 11, 2010

Our friend Mister Millerchip popped by the studio last week to pick up some prints we’d done for him and told us all about the projects he’s currently working on, and some very exciting plans for the next year. We’re very happy to work with such a lovely fella, and you should definitely be on the look out for his art.

Stephen Chan : Space Punk

March 31, 2010

The lovely Stephen Chan has been extremely patient with us these last couple of weeks while we have been so busy, but today it was all about him- we have printed these 2 colour A2 prints on 300gsm 100% recycled bright white smooth paper. Read about where you will be able to get one of these here. They come in two great colourways; lime and turquoise.
